This past weekend, the Westport Art Council’s Some Kind of Choir made their Festive Christmas concert debut!
Saturday evening included the choir singing eight choral pieces, five children from Rachel Hatt’s music studio performing selections on piano and violin and, of course an audience sing-a-long of holiday carols.
WAC would like to send a special thanks to choral director Cordon Purcell and accompanist Mary Lou Carroll for their direction and guidance in our weekly practices and helping choir members rise to the challenge.
WAC would also wish to express our deepest appreciation to Knox Presbyterian Church for opening their doors to us every Sunday afternoon and for providing such delicious refreshments on concert night.

Registration for the Some Kind of Choir Spring session will open online on December 9, 2024, with the first
practice scheduled for Sunday, January 12, 2025.
