Last month, the students of St. Edward Catholic School participated in a workshop through MASC, an Ottawa-based organization offering art programs in schools and sponsored by the Westport Arts Council.
Instructor Emily Michaud presented “Reflections on Water” through the creation of a six-sided hexagon with a central pattern, much like how water molecules and snowflakes would look like under a microscope.
Students were asked to include symbols representing their life, choosing colours and textures to arrive at their final product.
A very successful and captivating day!
