The Westport Arts Council (WAC) is a volunteer, not-for-profit organization dedicated to serving artists and the community by promoting and advocating for the arts. We work throughout the community to develop artistic programs and form mutually beneficial partnerships.
One of these partnerships is with local artisan Diana Kemp. This past weekend, WAC participated in a stained glass workshop at Diana’s home studio, White Heather Glass Creations. Set amidst Diana’s beautiful property, the outdoor studio provided a serene and inspiring environment for creativity.
Diana proved to be an exceptional instructor, guiding participants through the intricate process of creating stained glass art with patience and expertise. Her clear instructions and supportive teaching style made the workshop enjoyable and educational for everyone involved.
During the workshop, attendees had the opportunity to create stunning butterfly garden stakes, a delightful addition to any garden. The hands-on experience not only allowed participants to learn a new skill but also to take home a unique piece of art they crafted themselves.
